Outstanding New Work (ADFA 2023) Alice in Existential is a new work by Justin & Nicole Deveau and is being presented at the 2023 Stage Struck one act festival. In this comedy/drama we meet Alice, who wakes up in a play, or perhaps in a mental institution. She’s unprepared for the consequences, and doesn’t know what to do.
Becky is an exhausted mom and her husband Sebastian is a man trapped in a soul killing day job. It’s date night and they are going to attend a “snobby” dinner party at the home of one of Becky’s old show-choir friends. Some of the guests she’s known for 20 years, some she hasn’t seen since high school. Sebastian doesn’t want to go and is convinced that the dinner’s hosts are Swingers and just looking for a “hook-up”…and he’s going to prove it. Becky thinks he’s nuts and so they place a bet and hilarity ensues with each trying to win what it is they think they want most from the other.

The University of Alberta's faculty of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences was celebrating their 100th anniversary and contacted Saint Maggie Productions to create an entertaining 20 minute presentation that captured the entire 100 year history of the faculty.
Grace has run away from home to join the circus. She’s faced with a mysterious fortune teller, a manipulative ring master and menacing clowns. Can you have a relationship in a world of pretend? Can wearing a green wig erase your past?
Duets is comprised of four one-act plays.
Act 1: Blind Date - Jonathan and Wendy are on a blind date and hoping to get it right this time even though they’ve never got it right before.
Act 2: The Holiday - Shelley and Bobby have decided to holiday in Spain to finalize their divorce whilst drowning in cocktails.
Act 3: Secretarial Skills - Barrie is not really interested in women but Janet sees that as no reason to stop trying.
Act 4: The Bride-To-Be - Angela is marrying for the third time to the dismay of her brother Toby and amidst a barrage of bad omens and a bad dress.
Who says that two people cannot find romance in typos and misused punctuation? Another Evening of Awkward Romance finds love in the most unlikely places and proves that, in the end, happiness can only be found with someone who challenges us, intrigues us, and most importantly, makes us laugh.
